Here I am...

I am currently in Grand Junction, CO... and what am i doing? Not a heck of alot... My husband is working on his degree at Mesa and I'm just working and kicking around until he's done I am working at a Whitewater Hill Vineyards where i am pretty much a general assistant to the owners there. My main thing is to attend to the tasting room, but with the slow in tourists for the winter, i have become more of an office assistant. I'm also taking a turn learning a bit of sales. Although I don't consider sales to be tolerable in most circumstances; giving liquor store owners free wine tastings is about as good as it gets. So...so far so good.

I am starting to draw and paint a little more now that i have some free time, though with the bills and rent to pay, i have not been able to do any large scale work recently. Most of my artworks are little sketches and small paintings. Suffice to say, I am slowly working on pulling together a website and when i accumulate a few extra dollars i'll see what i can do to set up a very small scale company... this is a very new and confusing process to me right now, so we'll see what happens But I have to say that any little income on the side would be amazingly helpful!

I am very excited that the holidays are coming up and I'll soon be able to visit my family! I have to say I have been getting very homesick! I'm definitely a little isolated out here on the western slope. I'm just praying for mild weather so we can get over the mountains safely!
